ANSWERS:

Will there be more WICKED books?

Right now, Debbie Viguie and I don’t have plans to write another WICKED book since we’re in the middle of two new series: CRUSADE and the WOLF SPRINGS CHRONICLES. However, you never know what the future may hold.

Will there be another PRETTY LITTLE DEVILS book?

Where can I find the LEXILE numbers for your books?

Can you come speak to my school, library, or book store?

What are the names of your animals?

Can you send me a signed book as a donation for my school or charity?

I absolutely believe in supporting charities whenever possible. If I have an extra book or two, I am happy to send it to you. When making your request, please be sure to provide full details about the charity.

Can I send you a book to sign and return to me?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. I don’t have the capacity to mange incoming shipments, signings, and outgoing shipments. It’s more than my home office allows. However, I am happy to send you a signed nameplate that you can stick in your book.

Can you please send a copy of your book for me to review on my blog?

Can you please send a copy of your book to me to give away on my blog?

Will you make a guest appearance on my blog?

If I have time, I would be happy to make an appearance. While guest blogs tend to be a lot of fun to do, they also take up a great deal of time and creative energy. I try to do a few guest blogs when my schedule allows for the extra time.

Can I interview you for my blog?

If I have the time, I would be happy to be interviewed. My only request is that you look at other interviews that I have done, and ask questions that may not have been asked before. It’s always more fun to read and to give an interview that explore areas that are fresh and new.

Can you write a letter of recommendation for me?

I am happy to write letters of recommendation for students that I have taught in the past. However, there are a few stipulations. If it has been a long time since you were in a class or workshop with me, I may no longer be familiar enough with your writing and therefore would be uncomfortable writing a letter of recommendation. Therefore, I may ask to see a recent sample of your work before agreeing to write your letter. Because I receive so many requests, I have had to place a cap of three (3) letters per student. I know that many people apply to more schools and more scholarships than this, but it’s the most I can do in order to keep up with my own work and continue responding to other student requests. Above all, while I may remember you perfectly, I may not remember the place or year that we worked together so please be sure include the workshop or class as well as the date.

Can you read my book and critique it?

First of all, congratulations on completing your book! Finishing a novel is a huge accomplishment and one that should be celebrated. Unfortunately, I simply don’t have the capacity to read and critique your novel. When I receive these requests, they are the most difficult to turn down because I know how hard you worked and how much energy you put into that novel. However, I am up against a constant set of deadlines. So, while I may have the desire to help out, I don’t have the capacity. Thank you of thinking of me. Best of luck with your new novel. Now get to work on the next one.

Can you read my book and blurb it?

I am able to blurb a few books per year. ……………….

May I interview you for a school report/project that I am writing?
