I am thrilled to announce that I will receive the Horror Writers Association Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday, May 14th at the StokerCon™ awards banquet. I am deeply honored to join the list writers, editors, and horror influencers who have received this award. I’ll be joined at the podium by my good friend, Jo Fletcher, who is also receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award. Koji Suzuki, beloved J-horror author, will also receive the award. Omedeto gozaimasu, Suzuki-sensei!
My new writing partner, Alan Philipson, will attend StokerCon as well. We will be on two panels together, talking about Kolchak the Night Stalker and Horror in Comics. Alan and I have been hard at work crafting a new supernatural comic book/graphic novel series for Moonstone, and writing pulp fiction for Moonstone about our new character as well: Johnny Fade in Deadtown. More on that later!
