Mary Shelley Presents is a Bram Stoker Award Nominee!

I am so excited to announce that “my” graphic novel, Mary Shelley Presents, is an official Bram Stoker Award Nominee! I put “my” in quotes because I am part of the Kymera Press team that put the book together. The art team deserves just as much credit as I do. And of course, I owe everything to my editor and the owner of Kymera Press, Debbie Daughetee!

This graphic novel contains 4 stories that I adapted from the work of Victorian-era women writers who were as famous as Mary Shelley herself back in the day. Mary Shelley, of course, is the author of Frankenstein. In our novel, Mary and the Creature present the four stories and tell you about the women who wrote them. These are the stories:

“The Old Nurse’s Story” by Elizabeth Gaskell

“Man-size in Marble” by Edith Nesbit

“The Case of Sir Alister Moeran” by Margaret Strickland

“Monsieur Maurice” by Amelia B. Edwards
